Amazing Grace Pet Space was created from a lifelong passion for caring—rooted in love for both animals and people, and guided by patience, purpose, and skill.

Owner Grace Evans has always felt called to serve others. Her journey began with hands-on caregiving, working with the elderly and adults with special needs, where she learned the power of compassion, patience, and structure. Alongside this work, Grace has spent years serving her community by leading worship teams and volunteering with children’s Bible school—experiences that shaped her heart for guidance, responsibility, and nurturing growth.

As her path continued, Grace stepped into a Business Manager role at an established construction company, refining her leadership, marketing, organization, and operational skills. While excelling professionally, her lifelong love for animals resurfaced through fostering with a local rescue. That calling quickly grew into independent rescue work, through which she has rescued and cared for hundreds of dogs and puppies over the past six years.

In 2022, Grace took a leap of faith and purchased the building that would become Amazing Grace Pet Space. What followed was three years of intentional planning, design, and hands-on building—every detail thoughtfully created with safety, cleanliness, enrichment, and training at the forefront. In May of 2025, AGPS officially opened its doors.

Located in Wapakoneta, Ohio—home of the first astronaut on the moon—Amazing Grace Pet Space proudly offers cage-free daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services that are truly out of this world. Whether your pet is blasting off for a stay or landing for grooming or training, they’ll be treated like the stars they are in a space designed to feel like a home away from home.

Amazing Grace Pet Space is enrichment- and training-focused by design. Love and patience guide every interaction. Cleanliness, safety, and skilled care are top priorities—never compromised. Each dog is treated as an individual, with respect for their emotional well-being, confidence, and comfort.
